John Emmert ’62

John Emmert ’62 is a pastor in High Point, North Carolina.  His travels have included North Korea, China and Egypt.  Among his passions are writing, singing and playing worship songs.

Don and Helen Bass 1965-6 (staff)

After teaching at CCA, Don went on to earn a doctorate and spent a career teaching in college and directing Christian schools. After “retiring” they spent seven years in the Muslin countries of Turkey and Yemen involved in Missionary work.  They now make their home in Texas where they are ministering to those in need.

Missionary Kids

The year 2009-2010 Canyonville Christian Academy has had the privilege of schooling the following missionary kids: Alex Huff – Vietnam, Bart Celie – Belgium, Karolien Celie – Belgium, Kang Kim – Japan, Simon Gang – Israel, Pieter DeVries – Haiti.
